Much Wenlock and Cressage Medical Practice, a rural practice based in Shropshire, are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated salaried GP to join our team, with a view to possible partnership.

We are a friendly, supportive and progressive practice, with a highly skilled clinical team consisting of 4 partners and 3 salaried GPs working alongside nurses, HCA’s, dispensers and an administration team dedicated to giving the best possible holistic care to our local community.

The Surgery

We are a member practice of Our Health Partnership, the largest super-partnership in the UK.

We have a patient population of 8,000 and the practice is based over 2 sites, one of which is dispensing.

We enjoy teaching and are a training and research practice with strong links to Keele Medical School; trainees include medical students, nursing students and GP registrars.

Our partners have special interests in Minor surgery, Women’s Health, including full family planning, Palliative Care, Dementia, Medical Education, ENT and MSK We encourage and support the development of special interests in our clinical team.

Our clinical system is EMIS Web and we have recently implemented a document workflow management system to reduce administrative pressure.

We are high QOF achievers and have a CQC Rating of Good.

We provide care to two local residential and nursing homes and also a college for international students.

The Role

The successful candidate will cover, in addition to surgeries, on call sessions, home visits and relevant administrative work over six sessions per week.

Terms and conditions will be based on the BMA model contract. Salary scale dependent upon experience.

The Sutton Coldfield Group Practice brings together six GP practices across the Sutton Coldfield area. We care for over 50,000 patients and have a large contingent of receptionists, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrators.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse (Chronic Disease) to work with our supportive and friendly team at Sutton Park Surgery within the Sutton Coldfield Group Practice.

Skills and Experience required for the post include:
• Experience of working in a General Practice environment.
• Proven experience of managing all aspects of chronic disease, including Respiratory and Diabetes
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive the team forward.

A minimum of 20 hours can be offered on a flexible basis and the successful applicant will have a background in primary care.
We are a training practice with a proven track record of supporting clinicians at every stage of their development.

PRACTICE NURSE – Permanent, full or part time flexible hours available

We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our team working across our three sites.
Part of Our Health Partnership, we are a forward thinking, progressive group of three practices with 15 partners, 5 salaried GP’s and a team of 8 nurses, 3 HCA’s and 2 Phlebotomists together with a full complement of admin staff to support the delivery of excellent care to our patients. We offer an extensive range of services to our patients as well as being a training practice for the next generation of GPs.
You will need to have good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate competencies in a number of areas. Experience and qualifications in COPD and asthma would be particularly advantageous.
We actively support personal development and offer a variety of in house education sessions as well as supporting clinical development.
We offer a competitive salary together with 6 weeks annual leave and bank holidays (pro-rata for part time). The nursing team is led by a Team Leader who involves the team in improving care for patients in a collaborative way.

We are well-established GP training practice with a list size of approximately 5100 patients. Key responsibilities to include booking appointments, scanning, repeat prescriptions and other admin/clerical work as required.
