Dr Fuad Ahmed, a partner at Victoria Road Surgery which is a practice within Our Health Partnership, has long been known for his unwavering commitment to patient care. His dedication extends beyond the confines of his practice, touching the lives of countless individuals.

In January 2025, Dr Ahmed travelled to Bangladesh to assist in providing essential eye care services to those in need.

Honouring his late father’s legacy, he supported his father’s trust in facilitating free eye tests for more than 600 patients, diagnosing various conditions that, if left untreated, could lead to severe vision impairment or blindness. More than 60 individuals received free cataract surgeries, restoring not only their vision but also their quality of life.

Dr Ahmed’s charitable spirit was deeply influenced by his late father, a man known for his generosity and compassion. Following his father’s passing last year, Dr Ahmed has felt a renewed commitment to continue this legacy of kindness. “My father was a guiding light in my life.”

His colleagues at Victoria Road Surgery are immensely proud of Dr Ahmed’s humanitarian contributions. His actions reflect the core values of our practice – compassion, service, and community care.

Practice Manager Ash believes it is essential to share positivity in the world, stating, “I am privileged to work alongside such incredible people. Dr Ahmed’s selfless efforts inspire us all, and I couldn’t be prouder of our team.”

The team at Victoria Road Surgery stands united in support of Dr Ahmed’s efforts and looks forward to assisting him in future endeavours.
