SALARIED GP

Bartley Green Medical Practice is a friendly, forward looking practice in South Birmingham, looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated salaried GP with a view to possible partnership to join our team. The role is for 5-6 sessions per week.

MEDICAL RECEPTIONISTS – 2 PART-TIME POSTS

We are a GP practice with 6,000 registered patients based in South Birmingham and we are looking to recruit 2 receptionists, experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

The right person should be able to demonstrate a good telephone manner, computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and the right candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure, whilst adhering to patient confidentiality at all times.

Post one – 21.5 hours per week

Post two – 12 hours per week

The right applicant will receive 25 day holiday (pro-rota for part time), the opportunity to join the NHS pension scheme and a competitive salary.

SALARIED DOCTORS – Working in General Practice – A fantastic opportunity

Our Health Partnership is looking to recruit appoint a dynamic and innovative salaried GP, full time or part time (upto 8 sessions) – £9,000 per session, 6 weeks annual leave, NHS pension, Medical Indemnity covered by OHP and dedicated study budget plus access to professional mentor.

This is a post with a difference. The post holder will be based at one of OHPs 6 Shropshire practices and will experience a range of different services across the practices in Shropshire. The post is offered on an either part-time or full-time basis.
Part Time (Working flexibly between 4-6 sessions a week)

• 1 paid study session every two weeks
• The remainder of the sessions working flexibly and gaining experience across the 38 OHP practices
• £500 PA study budget
• A named mentor to help in your professional development

• All of your medical indemnity paid by us
Full time (working flexibly between 8-10 sessions a week)
This will include:

CHURCH ROAD SURGERY

ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER 

The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

UK registered nurse with significant post registration experience. Nurse Practitioner qualification an advantage. Nurse Prescriber qualification essential. Minor Illness and Injury qualification essential. Extensive clinical experience in A&E and/or Primary Care. Ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care. Ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively. Effective organisational skills. Evidence of experience in embracing and implementing change to provide high quality health outcome. Self-motivated, positive and committed. Continue education by attending courses/study days as deemed useful for professional development. Must keep abreast of changes and progress in nursing care. Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all consultations and treatment. Be flexible in order to cover annual leave and sickness of team members.

PRACTICE NURSE

Hours: 25 hours – 30 hours per week Salary: dependent on experience and qualifications
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse (Chronic Disease) to work with our supportive and friendly team.
Skills and experience required for the post include:

Experience of working in a General Practice environment 

Proven experience of managing all aspects of chronic disease – respiratory and diabetes is preferable but not essential 

Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive the team forward

A minimum of 25 hours can be offered on a flexible basis. The successful applicant will have a background in primary care, be NMC registered, an independent prescriber qualification is advantageous but not essential. The role will involve patient reviews, making necessary and appropriate referrals and reviewing results.

An experienced Medical Secretary is required to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative support to clinicians and the Practice team at the surgery. Applicants should be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, have good word processing skills, accurate audio typing, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, be aware of the need for patient confidentiality and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This position is for 30 hours of Medical Secretarial and 6 hours of summarising medical records. Pay is dependent on experience.

MEDICAL RECEPTIONISTS 

Two Medical Receptionists are required for a busy GP Surgery. Previous experience within a GP Practice and knowledge of Emis Web would be preferred but not essential.

One vacancy is for 20 hours per week and another for 15 hours per week. The working pattern can be discussed at interview. Please note reception is covered daily from 8am to 7pm. The normal shift pattern is either 8am till 1pm or 2pm till 7pm. Pay is dependent on experience.

HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT 

College Road Surgery is looking to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our busy but friendly medical practice. This is on a permanent contact, part-time basis working 15 – 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in Phlebotomy, Blood Pressures, Dressings, Basic Assessment for chronic disease management, New Patient Health Checks, health promotion/screening and health education work among other skills.  Candidates should also be able to follow instructions and procedures, have good communication skills including listening, organisation skills and also observational skills.

The practice uses the Systm One (TPP) clinical system.

The Sutton Coldfield Group Practice brings together 6 GP practices across the Sutton Coldfield area. We care for over 50,000 patients and have a large contingent of receptionists, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrators.

We are currently looking to employ a Salaried GP for 3-4 months for 5 sessions per week to work at our Vesey and Sutton Park sites.

The sessions will be:
