JIGGINS LANE MEDICAL CENTRE

PRACTICE NURSE  

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic nurse to join our friendly team. Experience in General Practice is desirable, although full training will be provided to those thinking of a change in their current nursing career. The current position is for 12 hours per week, though we anticipate that this will increase in the future. This is a permanent post with salary depending on experience.

The practice cares for 7,200 patients and our team includes 6 Partners (4FTE), 2 part-time salaried doctors, 1-2 GP registrars, a nurse prescriber, 2 practice nurses, a health care assistant and a phlebotomist. We are a Birmingham University teaching practice and strive to provide an excellent standard of patient care.

We are a member of Northfield Alliance, a group of 9 practices working collaboratively to deliver streamlined services to patients. We are also a member practice of Our Health Partnership, the largest super partnership in the UK.

DIABETES NURSE SPECIALIST

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Diabetes Nurse Specialist.

As a Diabetes Nurse Specialist you will work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner, and be a lead and source of expertise in diabetes disease management.

TRAINEE PRACTICE NURSE

LEACH HEATH MEDICAL CENTRE

PART-TIME HCA/DOMICILIARY PHLEBOTOMIST 

Leach Heath Medical Centre is a well-established, GP Registrar training practice delivering family-centered continuity of care to nearly 9,000 patients in purpose built premises.

We are looking to recruit an experienced HCA/Phlebotomist to join our team to provide an In-House blood taking service to patients, including weekly home visits for our housebound patients. The days of work are flexible/negotiable with a competitive hourly rate of pay. This role may suit someone already working for a GP surgery wishing to supplement their hours.

Applicants will be required to have a full driving license.

Hours of employment: To be agreed
